Your frequently asked questions

What are the check-in and check-out times?

For customers arriving the rooms are available starting at 14:00. On the day of departure the room must be vacated by 12:00. However, a luggage deposit is available for customers who arrive earlier or who intend to leave Florence later. If available we can also offer you the Late Check Out.

Does the hotel have a bar?

Our The Urban Garden Bistrot, located on the ground floor, extends throughout the garden to the interior with a lounge area.

Does the Hotel have a Fitness Room?

The Hotel has a Fitness Room with state-of-the-art equipment. It is located on the back day and is open every day. Use of the gym is reserved for hotel guests and is free.

Are the rooms accessible to people with disabilities?

The hotel has lifts and ramps that allow access to the equipped rooms and all the common areas. Some rooms are also available for those who need wheelchairs. We invite you to request it at the time of booking.

Does the Hotel have a Concierge service?

The Concierge service is available to help you plan and make your stay more comfortable: general information, museum reservations, restaurants, theaters, car rental and many other services can be arranged on customer request. Do the rooms have a safe?

All rooms are equipped with an electronic safe protected by a numerical code.

Does the Hotel have a laundry service?

Laundry and dry cleaning services are available from Monday to Saturday (excluding holidays). Clothing delivered before 09.30 am are returned after 8.00 pm on the same day. A 4-hour fast service is also possible, with pick-up until 09:30. Ironing service is available daily from 09:00 to 20:00.

Can I reach the hotel by car?

You can reach the hotel by car and stop for the unloading and loading of luggage on the yellow strips in front of the hotel. We are located outside the ZTL  (no car allowed) area and we have a car park only 100 meters away from the property.

Is the hotel equipped with an Internet connection?

Yes, the hotel has a Wi-Fi Internet connection and a free internet point.

Does the Hotel have a parking space?

The Hotel has an agreement with a parking that is 100 meters away from the hotel. The special rate is € 12.00 per night. It is not possible to reserve the place in advance but we still suggest to request it at the time of booking.

What languages are spoken at the reception?

Our multilingual staff speaks Italian, English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish.

How far is the train station?

Santa Maria Novella Railway Station is 1 km away. About 20 minutes on foot.

How far is the airport?

The airport is 6 km away. It takes 20 minutes by taxi to reach us.

Are there any rooms with a balcony?

We have rooms with a balcony and others with a garden. We invite you to request it at the time of booking.

Is breakfast included?

Yes. Breakfast is always included in our rates. Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 10.00 am and the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 7.00 am to 10.30 am

How far is the nearest bus stop?

The nearest bus stop is 100 meters from the hotel.

Are pets allowed?

In the rooms it is allowed to bring small pets at no extra charge. Entrance to the breakfast room and restaurants is forbidden.

Are the prices shown per person or per room?

The prices you find on the site are per room per night, excluding the fee you stay. The tourist tax will be paid at Check out and for those staying in a 4-star hotel, it is € 4.80 per person per day.

Is there a deposit for suitcases?

We have a free luggage room which you can use both on the day of arrival and on departure.
